KEY COMPETITIONS

Warragul Basketball Association enters teams across Victoria’s premier representative pathways, providing opportunities for our players to compete at the highest levels. Here are the key competitions where our Warriors teams currently compete:

VJBL (Victorian Junior Basketball League) – Our junior representative teams compete in Basketball Victoria’s elite state-wide competition, developing the next generation of talented players.

JCC (Junior Country Championships) – Our squads represent the Warragul district at this annual state championship event, competing against the best junior teams from across Victoria.

CBL (Country Basketball League) – Warragul teams participate in this important regional competition, connecting us with basketball associations across country Victoria.

Big V – Returning in 2026 as an independent entity, Warragul will once again compete in Victoria’s premier senior state league competition. Building on our proud Big V history, including our 2006 Division Two Championship, the Warriors are back.
